De-tasseling Season

De-tasseling season is among us, Paul is all ready to start tomorrow morning, however he wanted two more pair of long shorts to wear.  I made a basic gray pair which he thought was fine.  Then I decided to be a little ornery and bought fabric with ears of corn on it.  I made the shorts and handed them to him and got a huge sigh in return with "You know I HATE corn" I just smiled and said "Yep, and you need a little humor in your day."  

I guess he could always wear the shorts to a Nebraska Cornhuskers game.
