Husker Quilt and Sock Monkey

The benefit for David Avery was held today. I believe they had a pretty good turn-out. I was fortunate enough to bid on and win a handmade purse and an Oreck cordless iron. The iron looks like it's going to be amazing for my future sewing projects. And the purse....WOW..... I only wish I was that good of a seamstress. I've got a long way to go before I can make such a purse. I did, however, make the following sock monkey and Husker quilt.
